Technik Museum Sinsheim

The Technik Museum Sinsheim is just a 30-minute drive from Speyer directly via the A6 and offers visitors a variety of unique exhibition pieces from technological history.

The Technik Museum Sinsheim also has quite a few things on offer for visitors. The museum’s landmarks are two of the best-known supersonic passenger aircrafts in the history of civilian air travel: The British-French Concorde and the Soviet Tupolev TU-144. Both sit enthroned on giant steel supports over the museum roof and can be seen from afar.

The exhibition halls have a variety of other exhibits to discover, including vintage cars and motorbikes from every era, giant steam engines, Formula 1 legends, racy sports cars, enormous motor cars, agricultural machinery, and many more. Here too, temporary special exhibitions and vehicle conventions provide a diverse programme.

The museum grounds in Sinsheim are also home to the unique IMAX 3D Laser 4K Cinema, where two giant laser projectors beam both 2D and 3D blockbusters in digital 4K resolution onto an enormous, 600m² screen and provide an extra dose of class to the film experience: The brilliance and image focus are unique and the new 12-channel sound technics plus the special loudspeaker arrangement will make a visit to the cinema a real highlight.

The Technik Museum Sinsheim is open all year round from 9:00 a.m. From Monday to Friday, the museum closes at 6:00 p.m., while on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (in Baden-Württemberg), is open until 7:00 p.m.
